| Marton Manor Farm Shop and Tearooms |
Transforming this old granary into a working farm shop and tearooms ready to hit the 2010 summer seasonal trade was quiet a challenge, making the project a tight 14 weeks from start to finish.
The project consisted of a full refurbishment throughout the full building. Sandblasting all the old feature timbers and renovating the brickworks leaving it exposed brought the original feel of the old building back to life. To complement this, bespoke windows and doors and joinery also kept the original feel of the old granary.
The building now also has the pleasures of modern hidden comforts such as under floor heating, outdoor sun terrace and a fully fitted catering kitchen.
This project was a real pleasure to carry out and I wish Mr & Mrs Waind the best of luck in their new business adventure.
